昨夜はかつてのライバルと思わぬ形で二年ぶりに対決しました。
結果は俺の方が惨敗！
だが久々に見た横浜ナンバーのインプレッサはいつ見ても負ける気はしなかったがこうもあのずば抜けた走りだけは敵わなかった。
碓氷での対決の後は2on2で3戦ほどやりましたが勝ち負けも関係なく唯ひたすら攻めるだけのレースをするだけでした。
正直タッグを組むのも前作(D8)以来なので楽しめた。
俺の中では、頭文字Dのレースこそが原点でありグランツーリスモが終点だと位置付けていましたが、私事になりますが来年の12月をもちまして引退させて頂きます。
理由としては、様々な事情が絡んでいますが中でも今後の活動として既に始めていますグランツーリスモでのレース活動や自分自身の創作活動(主に絵師やデカール作成)に携わって行きたいと思い時期的にはまだ一年先ですが決断に至りました。
ご存知の方も多いと思いますが現在デカール作成を始めさせている身でありながらも色々と大変な部分に直面したり挫折して2日落ち込む事も沢山ありました。
それでも常に傍らレース活動が出来なくなる時間も増えてしまい結果的には頭文字Dで時間を使う事も減りました。
今回制作しているデカールも俺にとっては大好きな絵師さんの絵を使わせて頂いており制作時間が大幅に
遅れてしまっていましたが何とか軌道に乗れそうです。
後は寝ずの生活を1週間さえ時間を作れば何とかなりそうだと思っています。
本来なら今年引退する身でしたが
来年1年の延長を決め多少レース活動が出来る日数も限られて来ますが
今後ともよろしくお願いします。
編集後記
頭文字Dの引退は決めてはいましたが今のチームの居心地が良いのかもう少し仲間達と来年まで走り続けて行きたいと思ってしまう日が多くなってしまった。
来年の12月までは併用での活動になります。
